Chimney Installation Problems Solutions
Improper chimney installation causes smoke backflow, loud noise and wall vibration. Our technician ensures accurate height measurement, smooth duct routing and firm wall anchoring.
INCORRECT HEIGHT ABOVE COOKTOP
Installing too high reduces smoke capture; installing too low creates a fire hazard. We mount the chimney exactly 65 to 75 cm above the stove.
BENT OR CRUSHED DUCT PIPE
Excessive sharp 90-degree bends in flexible ducting create air resistance, drop suction and increase noise. We route duct pipes smoothly.
NOISY WALL VIBRATION
Loose wall bracket screws on kitchen tile or hollow brick walls cause vibration humming. We anchor heavy brackets firmly.
DUCT AIR LEAKAGE IN KITCHEN
Unsealed joints between the blower collar and duct pipe leak smoke back into the kitchen. We seal joints with aluminum tape.
EXTERNAL FLAP (NRV) JAM
If the flap valve on the external wall does not open smoothly, exhaust smoke gets trapped. We align and test the flap.
OIL DRIP FROM DUCT CONNECTION
Improper downward slope of the exhaust pipe can cause grease condensation to drip backward. We maintain proper outward tilt.
CORE HOLE DRILLING ALIGNMENT
Drilling the exhaust wall hole at the wrong height requires awkward pipe bends. We align core cutting directly with the chimney duct.
POWER SOCKET ACCESSIBILITY
Locating the power point too close to the exhaust pipe or out of reach of the cord. We position wiring neatly inside the chimney cowl.
Standard Installation Materials
Standard installation materials include heavy-duty wall brackets, expandable aluminum flexible duct pipes, exterior PVC louvre caps, aluminum sealing tape and anchor fasteners. Extra duct extensions or core cutting are provided as needed.
